What is an open-interest wall?

An open-interest wall is a strike with far more open option contracts than its neighbours. A call wall above price often acts as resistance and a put wall below it as support, because sellers at those strikes defend them.

How is the expected move calculated?

It is one standard deviation to that expiry: the current price × the at-the-money implied volatility × the square root of the time left. Option prices put about two chances in three on the price ending inside it.

How often does Market now update?
